Academic Regulations
for Master's Degree Programs

The graduate programs provide opportunities for qualified students holding a baccalaureate degree to continue their studies and pursue work toward a master's degree. Advisors in each department offering master's degrees provide direct counseling to students in their major fields.

Students desiring to pursue work in a teacher certification program at the graduate level are also advised by the Chair of Teacher Education. Each graduate student is assigned a committee of faculty members when the student's degree plan is approved, and the student must complete all assigned work and receive the recommendations of the committee and the Dean before a degree can be awarded.
