Graduate Studies in History

The masters degree with history as a major is not offered at Rio Grande College, but graduate courses in History are offered. Students may use graduate courses offered at the college to support work toward the Master of Arts degree offered in Alpine.

Students should discuss their degree program with an Alpine representative as soon as possible. The maximum number of graduate hours that can be transferred from the Rio Grande College to the Alpine campus is:

  • 12 s.c.h. in the 30 s.c.h. M.A. thesis program.
  • 18 s.c.h. in the 36 s.c.h. M.A. non-thesis program.
