
The Counselor of Career Services is available to assist current students and alumni in initiating, developing and effectively implementing career plans. Services are offered to help students clarify their career and educational goals and bridge the gap between the world of education and the world of work.
The office provides assistance to:
- Juniors and seniors, in selecting a graduate school, securing an internship, preparing a credential file, writing a résumé and cover letters, preparing for interviews, and job search strategies
- Graduating students and alumni, in accessing job openings and mailing out credential packets

Credential File Services
A professional credential mailing service is provided for graduating students and alumni who set up a file with the office. Students are encouraged to open a placement file at the beginning of their senior year.
These packets contain a placement registration form, a skills summary and letters of recommendation. These documents are photocopied and sent to employers on request. Forms needed to set up a placement file are available in the career services office or by request at any of the three sites.
