Who We Are
The program was developed by the U.S. Small Business Administration in 1984. SBDCs are RGC-SBDC serves Maverick, Val Verde, Uvalde, Kinney, Zavala, Dimmit, La Salle, Edwards and Real. What We DoFree Counseling ServicesThe SBDC provides confidential business consulting services which are conducted by professional counselors known as business development specialists.
Counseling services are provided at no charge, and counselors can meet with clients at their place of business or at designated meeting places. TrainingSBDCs offer workshops, conferences and courses geared to the needs of small businesses. Training programs range from advanced seminars aimed at experienced small-business owners to introductory courses for those planning to start a business. SBDCs also develop and conduct specialized programs to meet specific needs. Working with business professionals and other small business assistance organizations, SBDCs provide managers, owners and potential owners with the tools to analyze and resolve business problems. InformationSBDCs have access to a wide range of specialized information for businesses, including government procurement, international trade, patents and product feasibility.
